I will write the history not the one they told me, but the one I bled for, the one that carries my name. I will change the chapters. Tear down their versions, burn their scripts, start again from nothing. I will rewrite the story. Every wound, every rise, every scar a verse that says I was here. I will place myself at the heart of every storm, the main character, the axis of the universe around which destinies revolve. This is the present a journey carved in breath and pain, a script no hand but mine can hold. And when the future arrives, they will read these lines and ache with longing wishing they had lingered a little longer, to witness the rise, to taste the glory, to say:Ā IĀ wasĀ there.
